Most cookie banners exist because a site is full of trackers. This one is not. The site sets exactly one cookie, and only after you answer the banner.

Name. tcc_consent

Purpose. Records whether you accepted or declined, so the banner stops asking.

Contains. The single word accepted or declined. Nothing else. No identifier, no fingerprint.

Lifetime. One year, or until you clear your browser data.

Type. First-party, functional.

Analytics, only if you accept

If you accept, the site loads Vercel Web Analytics. It counts page views, referrers and rough country, and it does that without setting any cookie of its own and without following you to other sites. There is no profile of you anywhere in it.

If you decline, the script is never added to the page. This is a real gate, not a banner that reports a preference it ignores.

You can change your mind whenever you like using the Cookie settings button in the footer.

The site's typefaces load from Google's font servers. That sets no cookie, but your browser has to ask Google for the files, so Google receives your IP address and user agent on every page load. It happens before the banner appears and it is not covered by declining, because there is no cookie to decline.

This is disclosed here rather than hidden, because it is the one genuinely third-party request the site makes. Serving the fonts from this domain instead would remove it entirely.

If you sign in with Google to administer the shop, the session is kept in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. It is not sent to any third party, it is not used to track you, and signing out removes it. Nobody who does not administer the shop ever creates one.

Turning cookies off entirely

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings then Privacy. Blocking this one costs you nothing except that the consent banner will ask again on each visit, because the answer is what the cookie stores.

What is not here

  • No advertising cookies
  • No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any social tracker
  • No embedded Instagram, YouTube or X players. Those are plain links, so nothing loads from them until you click
  • No cross-site or third-party tracking of any kind
